Luke 4:18-19 (NLT)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.
Matter is defined as anything that consumes space. We, as human beings, God's divine creation who were created to rule in dominion in the earth, can be considered matter. How amazing is that! We matter to God so much in that He made provision for His creation to return to to Him in eternity.
In the journey of life, we encounter many challenges and face disappointment, rejection, abandonment, and a mirage of other hurtful things that start in early childhood and can have a lasting impact upon our lives and our ability to sustain healthy and meaning relationships - with God and others. The adversary, who opposes God's plan for our lives would love nothing more than to distort our view of ourselves, our greatness, and certainly our Gold. We believe in Salvation through Jesus Christ which redeems us from the penalty of sin, but also the need for inner healing, deliverance, and restoration from our inner brokenness.
The ability to Love Beyond the painful experience of life is achievable, and sustainable, through a Divine empowerment of grace that transcends social-economic status, race, gender, or age. This grace is accessed through salvation in Jesus Christ and a relationship that is established based on love, trust, and honor. A relationship with a loving, compassionate God who loves His creation so much that He honors them with the sacrifice of His son, Jesus, who is the Bridge to eternal life. The ultimate act of love was fulfilled on the Cross and is our example of love for other. This Divine empowerment of grace also compels us to Love Beyond ourselves in order to see the frailty of humanity, but also the value through the eyes of a loving God. I am not my my brother or sisters keeper! I am my brother and my sister! I identify with their life, pain, and victories through my personal life journey.
Healing is available to those who make a conscious decision to be healed. I am anointed to serve as a catalyst towards leading others into a place of healing their broken and wounded soul. I am anchored in the Word of the Lord and encourage the broken to agree with me on Psalms 147: 3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" as they receive hope, healing, and overcome pain. I accomplish this by helping others to develop emotional and relational wholeness, through the Word of God. As we develop in these areas, we gain the tools necessary to form sustainable relationships and build community. I have been anointed by God! Graced, gifted, and sent by God to provide insight and wisdom to those who desire what I have been provide.
